McLaren collision repair
McLaren Collision Repair in Portland, OR
McLarens come through our shop, and they get the same careful disassembly, accurate assessment, and process the rest of the exotic bench gets. Carbon tub, composite panels, no shortcuts.

- Carbon MonoCell and composite panels
- Every modern McLaren is built around a carbon-fiber MonoCell or Monocage tub with aluminum front and rear crash structures and composite body panels. This requires a different assessment approach than a conventional steel unibody car: surface damage can mask structural carbon issues underneath, the tub itself is designed to be inspected rather than straightened, and the aluminum subframes follow their own repair rules. We disassemble the affected area and assess the material condition before committing to a repair plan.
- Precision color match on McLaren finishes
- MSO (McLaren Special Operations) colors and the standard palette include long-flake metallics, deep ceramic and pearl finishes, and highly saturated solids like the McLaren oranges that punish a poor blend. We read the factory color code off the car, mix fresh material for each repair, spray test cards, and refinish in a controlled booth, blending into adjacent panels. Booth environment and application technique matter on these finishes, so we do not guess.
- Low-volume exotic experience
- McLarens run on the same carbon-tub and composite construction we work with across the exotic bench, from Lamborghini monocoques to Ferrari aluminum spaceframes. Removing a clamshell or a dihedral door without adding new damage is precise, patient work, and that is the kind of work this shop does on exotics every day. We keep the volume of exotic work low on purpose so each one gets that attention, and we are straight with you about what the repair involves before it starts.

McLaren collision repair questions.
Yes. McLarens come through alongside the other exotics we handle, and the carbon-tub and composite construction is the same family of work we do on Lamborghini and Ferrari. We keep exotic volume low so each car gets full attention rather than an assembly-line pass.
We assess the carbon tub, composite panels, and aluminum crash structures for structural integrity as part of every repair estimate. Depending on the damage, some carbon components require replacement rather than repair, and we will tell you that up front.
Yes. We read the factory color code off the car, mix fresh, spray test cards, and refinish in a controlled booth. The long-flake metallics, ceramics, and saturated McLaren solids are matched panel-to-panel and blended into the surrounding bodywork.
No. You are free to choose where your McLaren is repaired. We handle the carbon and composite assessment, the refinish, and the claim directly with your insurer, and we source OEM parts on request.
